His punishment should be a fine for lighting a fire in a public space and literring.
If I buy a quran (or anything really), I am allowed to burn it or use it to wipe my butt or whatever, as the physical object is my property.
People who are offended, have not been „made offended“ they decided to „become offended“. They offend themselves. So any serious and modern judicial system should not even concern itself with such incidents (except the, hey did somebody litter or endanger the public?) and should be a lot more tough on the side that is outraged rather than bending itself to just people’s feelings.
There is no other path for any modern society. Be it somebody defiling the american flag, or a bible, throwing knives at a picture of netanyahu or a palestine whatever.
if I own it, I can wipe my ass with it. A core undisputed rule of the universe itself damnit.

Thankfully. Meanwhile, people can burn the bible and nobody blinks an eye.

Thank fuck, some common sense related to the law in this country. We don’t have blasphemy laws here.

We’ll keep burning Qur’ans until everyone learns that you’re allowed to do it.
