Die privaten Gebühren von DHL für die freundliche Abwicklung der Zoll-/Einfuhrabgaben. Sie legen die Zahlung dem Zoll vor und berechnen Ihnen vage Bearbeitungs- und Verwaltungsgebühren. Für mich ist es der Wahnsinn, dass sie in diesem Fall für diese Verwaltungsaufgabe insgesamt CHF 50.- verlangen. (Artikel: Silberschmuck, übrigens seit 2024 zollfrei, unterliegt aber weiterhin 8 % Einfuhrsteuer)

This is what happens when the state give up his right to collect tax to private company. Peak capitalism.

I guess it’s probably not a scam legally speaking but the amounts private carriers like DHL charge for these „services“ really are ridiculous. They might as well start charging 1’000 francs, it’s that outlandish. Funnily enough, despite all those fees all their websites are still absolute dogshit.
Also, I love how people immediately try to justify it by saying you could just do the import yourself. Yeah sure buddy, let me hop in a car and drive tens of hours abroad for every single little thing I can’t order directly in Switzerland.
So does FedEx, they all do 🙁
