I bought a Lego set aimed for collectors and it was a relaxing experience. I am also interested in those adult coloring books. Not adult in the sense it has sexual content but because the images are quite complex. They are great ways to zone out.
For those that collect, like Star Wars action figures, I guess it’s more about nostalgia and potentially an investment as seen with Pokemon cards.

Because people want something. Anything. Any little thing that can bring a little joy. Long-term relationships? Nice try. A home? A car? Kids? We got a comedian here.
Why save for a tomorrow that’ll never come? The next *once-in-a-lifetime* upheaval event is right around the corner.

I bought a Nintendo 64 cartridge of Majora’s mask.
I’m never going to play it, I don’t own a 64. It was just something that made me happy as a kid, and adult life sucks, or I just really suck at adulting.

I just got dumped because I wasn’t rich enough. What else am I gonna do?

It’s a form of escapism I guess.
