It is a dark cold day in October, but the clocks still chime thirteen.
Contradictions like this tell you that most people–call them NPCs if you like–are simply not building up a consistent, coherent internal worldview. To put it bluntly, they attach no importance to discerning objective reality. Truth is what the authorities say is true at the time they say it, and therefore contradiction is impossible.
In effect, I’m saying this exposes more than what’s going on in Ukraine.

you mean weapons/jets orders that sit and rust in a field for the next two decades. But, whatever lies make the world go around. I mean, some US states are fully beholden to the MIC orders, so it’s clockwork that those local elected „leaders“ are for war, regardless of what it looks like. Orders are orders even if it’s a racket.
You see the dates, 21 months separate them, I wonder if things might have changed for either side during that time.
Also, those are only headlines, they usually have had more words that go along with them that would explain the nuances of situations most people are looking to understand.

Those two articles were published 20 months apart. Presumably the contexts within which those statements were made were somewhat different.
Those two headlines could mean the same thing though, from a certain point of view.
