More evidence that Micheal Martin is a scumbag.
They all do that shit. They meet you, look understanding and make sympathetic noises and then the next thing they’ve cut SNA access and decided to keep means testing the Carers‘ Allowance.
I mean, not to be insensitive, though take it whatever way yas want, but he’s the leader of the country, I’d say he’s probably more on his plate than looking after one particular persons particular needs. It’s easy to fling mud on leaders but the reality is he’s probably just too busy and he did say “*no promises*” so what were they actually expecting. It’s unfortunate and all but I’m sure he’ll have passed on what they told him but if there’s nobody that can do anything then that’s just how it is, miracles don’t always happen. Sometimes you’re just dealt a bad hand in life and that’s it.
