The same goes for MH17. That’s just the way AA missiles work.
It’s good that the Kremlin has acknowledged that these are Russian missiles and is willing to pay compensation.
That’s how these things work – they explode near to the target, scattering shrapnel at high velocity all around.
In the same vein, the first atomic bomb did not hit Hiroshima – it just exploded nearby.

Technically he is right. The airplane crashed in Kazakhstan being damaged in Russia.
If it was exploded by direct contact with Russian missiles then it wasn’t able to contact with dispatchers and continue to fly to KZ.
Anyway the airplane was damaged by Russian missiles and he agrees with it.
Guys, we had absolutely no reason to shoot down MH17 or that Azerbaijani plane. And if we had shot it down by mistake, everyone involved would have been already in prison, all the way up to the entire leadership of the Russian Aerospace Defense Forces and the district commanders.
For me, shooting it wasnt the worst part, its when they refused authorization to land because they wanted it to crash so it wouldnt be revealed that they fired missiles at it. Its so cruel and shows complete disregard for human life.
This shitstain thinks everybody is as naive and stupid as his brainwashed voters.
