What if he would have lived 21 years instead of 20 if he didn’t eat it?

I saw the video of him doing this a few years ago, he was very against modern medicine if I remember correctly.

So everyone who’s eaten uranium has died eventually? That’s enough evidence for me, I don’t think it’s safe to eat uranium.

    4. This guy is a huge reason why I don’t think nuclear bombs exist. The whole danger around nukes is just an invention to control who in the world gets to use nuclear power for energy.

Remember that kid who made a reactor in his mom’s shed? I don’t think I would like to have been in his place.

It was uranium oxide. Oxides are much more stable. I’d be impressed if it were enriched uranium. (Edit to add: it’s kind of how Sodium chloride is fairly harmless (table salt), but pure sodium metal is highly reactive.)

We know ionizing radiation is bad because you can easily repeat its effects.

One of the reasons we try not to use UV as indicator for tagging (ionizing on the electromagnetic spectrum) for lab work that involves DNA is because it can break the bonds.

Like there’s nothing mysterious and / or confusing about this at all.

Uranium isotopes are unstable and are ionizing radiation.

Weirdly enough the 3 divers at Chernobly who went under the reactor to pump the water out so it didn’t fall into the water creating a second explosion didn’t die of radiation related deaths even though all 3’s exposure would have been astronomical and they were told it was a suicide mission and that they would be dead in weeks.

All 3 died at natural ages.
Radiation is very strange and interesting.

Dr’s used to tell crohns patients to smoke cigarettes. The science is there, Nicotine blocks il-23 that causes inflammation in IBD. Not very well, but it does
