Yes it may, however IMO its begining to look like some in power are happily watching Putin tied up in a long term no win war. Keeping russia occupied.
If this keeps up, Putin will start getting Democrats elected in the US.
Even with China supplying them? I doubt Russia is going to ’sober up‘ so long as China has great interest in keeping Russia afloat.

Tomahawk deliveries would definitely shift the strategic calculus. Russia’s been banking on the West’s hesitancy, more advanced weaponry could tip that balance. But does escalation actually bring negotiation closer, or just prolong the conflict?
My guess: It will lead to more destruction, and that’s about it.

They need to have delivery methods to even consider using these, and that won’t be any time soon if I’ve read correctly.
If Trump want others to believe he’s not patsy to Putin then delivering Tomahawk will be the first step he should do but of course, he won’t. 😛

(For the record: I don’t think he actually would. I think he’s a bully who’s far more talk than anything else. But he’s also unhinged, angry, unpredictable, and has one of the largest – if unreliable – nuclear arsenals on the planet. I don’t know if I make a move on the guy until I know I can make him unalived. I’m the guy that wouldn’t play Russian Roulette for any amount of money with a single bullet in he gun.)
It’ll level up the playing field. As Ukraine strikes beyond 1000 miles with precision, Russia will have to move war production way far from Ukraine, really expensive and time consuming. It’ll weaken Russia a lot. With continuous drones strikes in all occupied territories and along all border, it’ll push back Russia to his own borders. Fire power is what Ukraine needs.
And please, do you have a plan for Crimea in the pipeline, why is the bridge still standing. Crimea and occupied territories are the path to Moldova and Europe. Russia wants a connection to weak European countries.
I doubt Russia will sober up, but you know what? It still sounds like a good idea, we should try it
