This needs to happen, to stop the creeping escalation by Russia.

    2. Must we go ‘round and ‘round constantly? Every time this comes up I think of Morpheus talking to Neo during training saying “Stop trying to hit me and hit me!”

    3. The only way Russia will stop pushing boundaries. At least with flying into NATO airspace.

They will still bribe, spread misinformation, blow up warehouses, cyber attack our critical infrastructure, threaten nuclear response daily for us merely existing… but at least they wouldnt be able to fly into our airspace again.

Won’t have the guts to actually do it. It’s just about being seen to discuss it. Toothless leaders leading to increased hostilities.

I thought they already agreed to. Or was that just individual countries agreeing to maybe 🤔

Been saying it for a while. Neither NATO nor EU have leadership, all they have is victimhood. „Oh, nasty Russia, let’s be appalled and observe and discuss some more.“

I’m not a militant person, but if Russian jets enter Turkish air space, they get shot down – hence they don’t enter Turkish air space anymore. So why the fuck can’t EU/NATO countries DO WHAT THE FUCK THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO and defend their air spaces?

Discussion time was 3 years ago maybe. Now we in EU should just act like a bloody military super power if we want to be treated like one.

Fearing escalation, if you let your enemy’s transgressions slide, what lesson does he learn?

Ans: That the boundary can be violated even further.

      Do it.

Then say they just fell apart in mid air. Deny shooting them down at all, it’s just poor russian maintenance.
