      This *could* be an easy win-win, given that Carney is apparently positioning it as a carrot in exchange for steel and aluminum tariff relief.

      It doesn’t really change the importance of getting pipelines to elsewhere built *too*, but if the price for tariff relief is…the US buying more of our products…that seems like a cost I’m willing to bear

      Clearly the best pipeline for Canada. Always has been when *paired with* Trans Mountain. Keystone XL is over 20 years old and should have been up and running by 2007/8 in a more ideal world. 

      I’ve pondered the energy independence options for Canada and it’s tricky. Northern Gateway makes no sense imo. The frustrating part of the pipeline debate is both Keystone XL and Trans Mountain should have came *online in the mid 2000s*
