They have been spanked pretty hard, I’m not terribly surprised they don’t know where all of the dead are.
Well yeah, at least some of them are under an exploded building, a flooded tunnel, or just lost in the chaos.
I’m sure the Israeli government is aware of that. If they drop the deal, it won’t be because of that. It’ll be because of the prisoner swap, or other conditions.

I find it amazing that nowhere in the article does it note that these dead hostages were killed by Israel in bombing attacks and since everyone in the building, school, hospital, civilians house or wherever they were is also dead, No one knows which body parts belong to who.
That’s devastating. It highlights how brutal and chaotic the situation is on the ground, and how much suffering families are enduring while waiting for answers.
As far as Israel should be concerned Hamas can dig every inch of land in Gaza until it finds all the bodies

I mean! It makes sense when you bombed the shit out of every corner of Gaza. Like not only did they killed Hamas combatants, they probably killed and buried hostages in the mix. Bombs can’t just killed the people you want, it kills everyone in radius.
Israel knew this was going to happen when they started leveling buildings without knowing if there were hostages inside. What was the Golda Meir quote „we can never forgive you for forcing us to kill our children?“
It’s tragic but I get it. Hamas is pretty disorganised, I doubt they even knew where all the live hostages where at all times, let alone the dead ones.
I am sure some of the hostages have been sold as slaves and has been smuggled out of Gaza also.

This war was never about saving the hostages lets be real.
