C’mon folks, the trade deal is gone, history. Get over it. It isn’t Canada’s choice. The US will only be interested in trading with anybody if they hold all the cards. The US actively doesn’t want an auto deal with Canada or anyone else. They only want to use cars they make themselves. This is bad for Canada but it’s our own fault for taking the easy way out for all these years. We can sit in our little corner and whine about it or we can put on our adult pants and start looking out for ourselves. It will take a while and it will take long term thinking about things but we’ve done it before. We aren’t going to do any long term harm the the US either so it isn’t about that. It’s quite simply time we stood up on our own two feet and started doing things for ourselves. … and for heavens sake we have to stop listening to Skippy. He’s an idiot.
