    Anzahl der „Turbo-Einbürgerungen“ von Juli 2024 bis April 2025


    Dieser Einbürgerungsweg wurde heute vom Bundestag aufgehoben. Einige Bundesländer nannten keine genaue Zahl, einige (NRW) beispielsweise sprachen von einer sehr geringen Zahl.

      A scape goat it is. I hope they won’t change the rules if the standard post 5 year naturalisation process

      The hype was much louder than the actual numbers. If there’s anyone that determined to get C1 they’re probably set in stone for Germany and fine to wait until 5 years anyway.

      This is such a stupid law to scrap. I highly doubt delaying citizenship for C1 level German speakers is a good thing. Aren’t C1 speakers the kind of people we want to have here?

      People with B1 can still get citizenship in 5 years, I think it made more sense that people with C1 get citizenship in 3 years than this.
