1. Any attention brought to electoral reform is great. I wish we could focus more on ER than this stunt, but this stunt has us talking about ER more than anything else has since Trudeau broke his promise.
2. It’s essentially harmless and an incredibly *Canadian* form of protest/activism.
3. It seems to bother Pierre Poilivevre a lot, and it’s not hard to get me to support something that irks him.

Pierre’s Vanity Do-Over proved once again that the LBC does not suppress turnout, does not subvert voter intent, and has absolutely no negative impact on the outcome of an election.

All he’s achieved is uniting the parties to do amendments to the Elections Act to make it more difficult to do a longest ballot committee protest. It’s an entirely juvenile attempt to advocate for electoral reform that actively harms the electoral process and costs us a shitload of money. I don’t see any polling indicating all of this circus has done anything to push forward popular support for any form of electoral reform.
