I mean…sure…but… nothing makes sense, really. the more I read it, the more it reads like a person with schizophrenia and an episode of paranoia.

Are you sure you want this translated? Would personally just hand it over to the police….

The good thing is the person never directly addresses your mother. Or directly addresses anyone even.

The bad thing is this person is still crazy. They talk about dead horses, murders, being called a nazi, being made homeless, seeing connections where others don’t see them etc

The letter has been written by someone, who is either a native speaker or someone who has been speaking German for a long time. There are some of the references making me believe that the person is currently living in Germany or at least keeping up with the news. However what the person writes does not make any sense and sounds like someone having a psychosis.

If the letter was addressed to your mums maiden name it must be a distant relative or acquaintance, who speaks native German and has your mums address. From the stamp used you should be able to see from where the letter was sent. Can you think of any such person?

I would not be too worried and just hand this letter over to the police. As your mum is not referenced in the letter, most likely someone going through a mental break sending letters to random addresses they remember.

/edit: Does your mum work for some kind of media outlet and is her address publicly available by any chance? Could also be a letter by someone who does not know your mum but is thinking that she might be able to publish an article or something about this persons weird takes.

    4. Those letters sounds like some typical conspiracy theory crap. It’s probably better to hand them to the police. Maybe they can do something with that.

    5. Can you tell if it’s actually handwritten or just printed? It kinda looks like an ad for the mentioned book that’s supposed to look like a letter from someone with paranoid schizophrenia to get you interested.

If your interested, even though the person is crazy:

„Is it normal that the people you went to school with in Berlin, want to turn you into a ‚Nazi‘ – for their career in television (among others, NDR and RTL)? Who cares about a person who has been silenced by being made homeless and sent to a psychiatric hospital? But he can say something about the serial killing of horses since 1993 and the arson attacks (among others, A57 -> „Andi“ at Valentine’s Day, Taunusstein -> horses) since 1992 (Mölln). Furthermore, murders have occured. Since 2009, the centre of action are, among others, in Hannover and Dresden and somewhere else. But they amuse themselves. The level of manipulation is high; they wrote a book for children about themselves.“

      TW: abuse

followed by confusing notes about murder, horse morder, burned houses, the ‚Elysium Portal‘ (i googled it, seems to be a closed website on the hidden service/ darknet, which contained child pornography) and politics (G20, Bundesverdienstkreuz).

      >“N@zi”, “murder”, and “suic*de”

Btw this isn’t tiktok you can spell those words on reddit without someone sanctioning you.

Anyway. These are schizophrenic ramblings of a very disturbed person that needs help.

They seem super deep into some conspiracy of their own but seem to put bits and pieces of popular conspiracy theories into them. There is not much sense to it.

It all started when they were still at school in Berlin and not those people have a career in TV and those have declared them a Nazi are responsible for their homelessness and made gagged them figuratively from speaking out by putting them into a psychiatric hospital. Then a horse murder series happened and arson attacks and the center of those actions located to Hanover and Dresden and elsewhere. „They“ are very manipulative and are laughing at the author. And the wrote a children’s book and on the side want to drive them to suicide.

And then follow lists of supposed fires in orphanages and an „elysium-like“ fire series in bakeries. [I kid you not]

Then on the other side there a list of names from Berlin of which they have picture and other things.
A list where they could explain the connecting dots of a bunch of unsolved murders with a list of names.

Then you have remarks like „secure school years“ and “ dead horses“

And then it goes again list TV careers and dead babies and a bunch of cases and names of people.

The other pages are about a „MC Harlem“ Picture from a statistic and that is also somehow connected to murders and a „Andi-Man“ Picture and some GDR Stasi activity and SS-Picture and how it’s all connected.

And the other side complains about some Elysium Portal Closure that fits together with the downfall and the G-20-Summit in Hamburg and that no one got to the bottom this. And then closes that Armin Laschet [ a politician] giving a Bundesverdienstorden (a civil merit medal) to a music group called „die Höhner“ [they exist].

      —-

If you ask me they put together events that scared them from their youth like a series of horse murders and real murder from the 1990s and 00s and mixed it with their schizophrenic delusions about the TV and pictures they’ve seen somewhere and added some random even. As for the Elysium Portal it might have been an internet forum that was closed down. Or they think it was real portal. I don’t know.
