      how clumsy

people please be careful around windows they seem dangerous

    3. >Russian police are investigating the death of the latest prominent figure to fall to his death from a window

I bet they are… just not very hard.

    4. Another victim of poor Russian building codes. The Kremlin should really get around to fixing those. It’s a hazard.

This is the reality some of our elites want for us.

      Thank Republicans. :/

They should really consider updating their building codes… It seems to happen so often there… Strange…

In Mother Russia, windows don’t open for fresh air. They open to give you new views. Some people get a view of the sky. Some people… get a view of the pavement. It’s all part of the experience.

    8. I do admire the attempt to sell these as a regular accident that ever happens to anyone

Putin heard that song “It’s raining Men” and really went all the way with it

Turns out the window doesn’t even open from the inside and the only way to fall out of it is to run at it full speed and smash your body into it

He went out for a smoke, and unfortunately the wind kicked up. Nothing surprising or suspicious

I don’t suppose living in a windowless basement would have helped gaurd against this kind of “accident”

I feel sympathy for the man and his family. But I also automatically snorted at the headline. They do stick to what they love.

      Too soon?

Pravda translates to Truth. Trump’s Rag is called Truth Social. Coincidence? Hmm.

This has happened so much that the gallows-humor jokes about it aren’t funny anymore, and that’s just another sad thing about it now.

Why always from a window? Why do they never die in car accidents where their brakes suddenly dont work, or succumb from serious food poisoning. FSB is getting lazy.

    20. I don’t know how things are in Russia, but I’ve ran 100s of suicides as a first responder in a western country. Only 2 of them involved leaping to their death from a high place. One was a construction worker whose girlfriend had just broken up with him (jumped from the 12th story) , the other was a person released too early from a mental health hospital (jumped from a bridge and got run over).

Most people choose the easy, less painful way (pills, gun, hanging, etc) rather than becoming pavement jelly. It’s just not a normal thing to do. This dude is 87 and has access to numerous medications that can be fatal if taken in relative higher than normal doses. He was diagnosed with heart failure decades ago, which tells me furosemide, and beta blockers. Most humans would choose the simple way out, not a window…

    21. You’d think Russians would stop standing near windows, all things considered…

    22. Confirm_Nor_Deny on

It would double suck to fall out a window for real while in Russia.

    23. Prudent_Ad2321 on

I always just imagine Russia to be like Star Wars. Lots of platforms with absolutely no hand rails or fall protection

    24. WaffleHouseGladiator on

For those keeping score at home, this makes 19 falls and 85 total suspicious deaths of prominent Russians.

    25. At this point, if you’re going into a tall building in Russia without a parachute, you’re kind of asking for it

    26. We should export an OSHA team over there to evaluate window design and construction. This has been happening much too frequently over the past couple of decades. That, and find the cause of all those random bullets that continually find their way into dissidents.

    27. You would think they would have better hotel window regulations in Russia, given all of the people that keep falling from them
