Wow, that’s a bad look. On one hand, it seems pretty justifiable to release a reservist who isn’t even living in the country and can’t serve. (As the headline conveniently omits.)
On the other hand, I would go very far out of my way to find a way to avoid the appearance of punishing a whistleblower. Unless that was exactly the message I *did* want to send.
