    1. > “Please, just stop sending me AI videos of Dad,” Zelda wrote. “Stop believing I wanna see it or that I’ll understand, I don’t and I won’t. If you’re just trying to troll me, I’ve seen way worse, i’ll restrict and move on. But please, if you’ve got any decency, just stop doing this to him and to me, to everyone even, full stop. It’s dumb, it’s a waste of time and energy, and believe me, it’s NOT what he’d want.

      > “To watch the legacies of real people be condensed down to ‘this vaguely looks and sounds like them so that’s enough’, just so other people can churn out horrible TikTok slop puppeteering them is maddening,” she continued. “You’re not making art, you’re making disgusting, over-processed hotdogs out of the lives of human beings, out of the history of art and music, and then shoving them down someone else’s throat hoping they’ll give you a little thumbs up and like it. Gross.”

      > Zelda concluded, “And for the love of EVERY THING, stop calling it ‘the future,’ AI is just badly recycling and regurgitating the past to be re-consumed. You are taking in the Human Centipede of content, and from the very very end of the line, all while the folks at the front laugh and laugh, consume and consume.”

Fucking horrendous like those people sending AI videos of him might not be real fans at all, especially if they’re using AI to make him appear alive.

I like the cut of her jib. RIP Mr. Williams. You were one of my favorite actors.

If only she had a way to see footage of her father from before his death, but none exists. Truly tragic

Robin Williams didn’t even want Disney using Genie for advertising. He DEFINITELY doesn’t want his likeness puppeted like this.

    6. Robin Williams didn’t play games with that, he took his image very seriously and knew the type of influence he could have. He had a signed deal with Disney on how they would market Genie or something like that and they totally reneged on it, not sure if it went to court/etc but yeah, he damn sure wouldn’t be ok with AI shit.

You can watch Sora 2 and see the dead celebrities videos are very common. Lampooning a dead politician would to me be always allowed, but unless the video is addressing an major issue with a dead celebrity it’s probably best to stick to only imitation. Robin made his living on imitating others so seems fair if done right.

    8. This is like when that guy was trying to get some movie made about Robin Williams and he made a test scene about when John Belushi died and everyone kept sending it to Zelda Williams as if she would want to see that.

Goddamn guys… I did not need to feel this way today.

What the hell is wrong with people,?

    10. AI is straight garbage, I’ve started blocking anything that uses it when I notice it. Youtube, FB, anything.

Damn, I got not problems with people generating, but sending that to his daughter is a line even I gotta say is gross.

    12. I am a massive proponent of AI, and I think that, without express permission, AI should not be used to reproduce people, especially if they are deceased. I saw the recent Sora trend, and I greatly dislike it.

    13. AI stealing from him as he stole from other comedians. It truly is more human than we think

Well… this isn’t the A.I of the future. This is a present day novelty.

The real A.I… is in fact the future. We’re not escaping that one. For better or worse.
