      As part of a treasure hunt-style promo for her new album, Swift challenged her fans to find 12 “orange doors” spread across 12 cities and scan accompanying QR codes. These codes unlock short videos, one of which has been making its rounds on social media — for all the wrong reasons, unfortunately.

      One clip, which features an Art Nouveau-style bar, bears the now-infamous hallmarks of generative AI use. As eagle-eyed internet sleuths spotted, a framed picture on the wall features a garbled depiction of a house, and a book is mysteriously missing letters. Another shows dumbbells with weights and handles that don’t align correctly.

      In Taylors defense if she spent money hiring actual artists to make things for her she would have like a billion minus 5 thousand dollars. Completly unacceptable

      I’m not a Taylor Swift fan but it’s funny anyone would buy this headline. I assure you they don’t have a strong negative opinion on the use of AI in her videos lol

      I don’t get it – professional creative designers use AI. If the argument is that it’s sloppy and she should get someone better to do the videos that’s valid. But it’s not like she *didn’t* hire a creative designer for the project.

      Idiots, you just have to wait a few months for the Taylor Version, which will come out Pokemon style with 43 different versions to collect.

      If I had to guess I bet someone made this decision without her knowing. Enshittification occurs everywhere after long enough.

      Some manager trying to reduce costs? Defrauding their employer? Or did a billionaire singer get talked in to how great it will be done as AI but didnt do any QA herself. She’s very busy so it would track

      I donno. Think about if you had 100+ team managing you and your content.

      This is a good exchange though. She’ll refocus on the quality or will ignore it and move on. The fans will react accordingly. Not my scene, but what is my scene is railing against enshittification lol

      Oh no the billionaire lied to their customers and is actually a huge piece of shit? Who could have seen that coming? Except everyone who knew she is a billionaire because you cant be a billionaire and a good person at the same time. I got so much hate last year saying she was just as bad as all the other billionaires

      I am confused, Taylor makes the videos in studio? Taylor has her issues but this should be a non story when it comes to AI, I highly doubt they told her it was AI or honestly if she cared

      This is her worst album. She’s still an amazing artist, but it’s bad.

      Lol what 3 fans are mad? Guarantee most don’t care and majority of public doesn’t care either.. Fools are fighting a losing battle if they think they can make AI generated content go away.
