I’m pretty sure Doug Ford knows he’s suggesting people boycott a Manitoba product. This isn’t team Canada, it’s screw everyone outside of Ontario.
Wish he’d try and do more than threaten Diageo, efforts to keep them in Amherstburg would seem more productive IMO. On the other hand, I live near there and Diageo is the last big company left in town, so anything is better than nothing.
Might as well put up one of those taxpayer funded “Open for Business” signs leading into Quebec and Manitoba instead.
Threatening a company with an LCBO boycott for closing a plant is a sure fire way to never have any liquor company invest in Ontario again.
