A large-scale mechanized Russian assault was stopped in the Kostyantynivka direction!
The Russians hoped that worsening weather conditions would allow them to carry out a mechanized offensive.
They were wrong.
The assault was repelled by GV BAS Phoenix, 93rd Mechanized Brigade, one of the units of the SBU’s Center for Special Operations „A“ and Flying Skull

Sidenote, on friday its two years since Russia launched the massive attack on Avdiivka that kickstarted this offensive towards Pokrovsk that hasnt stopped since. Russia likes to use a lot of armor in October and over winter, so we will see how much they have stockpiled in the next months (assuming they will use this armor)
I also noticed after posting some clips from this was uploaded earlier today on this sub from the Phoenix drone unit

We’ll see more of these in the coming months. They have been building up for months. It will be interesting to see if there will be a change of doctrine. What always was the worst weather for mechanized assaults is now also bad weather to operate drones. Lets see if anything changed, lets see what what they fear more: the weather or the drones. Either way it will be very costly to them.
