      The legal term for this is reckless. This is reckless endangerment of life. And it shouldn’t just be the reckless endangerment of police life that we care about.

      Former LEO in big city here and I’ve worked with most of the federal agencies at some point during my time. I’ve seen dozens and dozens of videos of ICE in action and those guys are straight up BUSH LEAGUE in the tactics and people skills. It actually does feel like a bunch of untrained Joe’s that wanted to play cop, not just a political talking point.

      I guess this is what Trump meant when he said “training grounds”. Civilian bystanders, local authorities, protesters, ICE doesn’t seem to discriminate.

      Employees at a shop next to the Broadview facility were hit with pepperballs and tear gas entered their building. It’s barely mentioned in this article.

      I remember when there always a huge panic about staffing police forces properly post 9/11 because all of the competent ‘would be’ police officers go to the Middle East and get blown up. We were left with our current police for that is just not that competent.

      ICE is full of the people that still got rejected by the police.

      This is what happens when you quickly hire people who have little to no law enforcement training, former law enforcement who are former due to abuses of power, or law enforcement who were drawn to ICE because they like the idea of being „unchained“. Also, bad things happen when law enforcement sees the people they’re supposed to „protect and serve“ as the enemy.
