Why would Israel pay attention to Trump? Trump is a fool and an embarrassment. He doesn’t care about peace in Gaza, and he doesn’t care what happens to anyone in the region.
Hamas rejected this peace deal and unfortunately have to be held accountable, since they’re the only ones representing the Palestinian state at this point. Too bad that so many countries had to go and recognize a terrorist state without providing any material or military aid to the people living there.

From the Israeli perspective, why would they expect Hamas to actually.agree to a formal cease fire and accept Israel’s other demands if they’re no longer under fire?
The war will end only when both parties, Hamas and Israel, find it to their benefit to stop fighting. Trump issuing commands isn’t going to make that happen anytime sooner. What Trump has to do is issue credible threats and also make a cease fire sweeter than ongoing conflict.
The biggest obstacle to peace has always been Israel, and always will be.
Putin ignores Trump. Netanyahu ignores Trump. China ignores Trump. So Trump punishes his own people instead, because we can’t ignore him.
It’s honestly time for the rest of the world to use military force to stop them, they will not stop otherwise
