Make them an actual proposal that is of net benefit to BC and the answer will be different.
Fortunately for Canada interprovincial infrastructure is entirely the federal government’s jurisdiction and provinces don’t have the power to veto them. Eby knows that but is playing it up for political gain.
He didnt say no , hes actually dropped the political optics on this under carneys lead .
He called it out for what it is , political bullshit that harms Canadians at the expense of Smith, moe and Pierre saving face with their voters because they are scared of the success Carney is heading towards. They are framing a failure and pretending that they are not fully supportive of Carney atm .
