The guy that owns that account is Indian but the point still stands.
Israel is extremely progressive on LGBT issues; Tel Aviv is considered the gayest city in the world.
This has always been the grand irony of liberals in the west. They have undying support for Muslims and welcome them into their countries, but Muslims are on the complete opposite of the political spectrum.

It’s extremely insensitive BUT the „technically democratically elected“ government Hamas did support these punishments.
But that doesn’t represent the true sentiment of the people who have been living in fear. That’s the sad part I’m realizing. They weren’t fair elections. The people lived in fear of their government and are now being punished for being punished.
