    1. What cutting edge animal research related to improving technology have you all been looking at?

As our world becomes increasingly connected, wireless networks are reaching their limits; crowded airwaves and constant data exchange make them prone to interference and jamming. Researchers at the University of Georgia are turning to an unexpected biological model for inspiration: the *Eigenmannia virescens*, a South American electric fish. These fish naturally avoid “jamming” each other’s electrolocation signals by dynamically adjusting their electrical frequencies in real time. This behavior, known as the jamming avoidance response (JAR), could inform the design of next-generation communication systems that self-regulate to minimize interference. Imagine WiFi, mobile networks, or even satellite systems that automatically adjust like living organisms to maintain clear, efficient communication in crowded environments. Could this kind of bio inspired adaptation become the foundation of future decentralized, interference-free wireless networks?
