    1. Most places are in a way when it comes to „social score“. In china the government will cancel you, while in western countries like for example the us you will get cancelled by the population if you step too far out of line. 

    2. Chinese apps/tech companies often list this as a benefit – that they’re able to control public communication on any topic that a government deems „threatening“ or „sensitive.“

      Completely opposite of US 1st amendment rights.  But dictators / authoritarians love this part.

      I deleted mine when the shutdown happened. Algorithm was real weird, they had me autofollowing all kinds of people.

      Why would it be on the app? The kids using it were not even alive when it all happened

      So you thought that a China coded short form video player that was forced to sell to America by Trump would be uncensored?

      The same guy who got his own social media company for propaganda and is supported by Musk who also owns his own social media company. Both are known for censorship by their CEO mandates.
