„Controversial“ as if there was any ICE raid that wasn’t.

That’s okay though. They had reason to believe they were doing the right thing.
Supreme court has passed a lot of precedent that police don’t need to follow the law.
All of these thug ICE recruits are still learning. They’ll get better at their job. Next time they’ll detain 10 US children and maybe even – if they’re lucky – have a few deported.

> During Controversial ICE Raid
Controversy: disagreement, typically when prolonged, public, and heated
The use of neutered and delicate adjectives by the media is how we got here. The average person does not consume much news or read in-depth articles about current events – they read headlines. That’s just the reality now. So medias word choice in headlines has massive implications.
The use of “controversial” should be reserved for describing the latest reality tv episode. The ICE raids should be referred to as – oppressive; racist; autocratic; tyrannical; dangerous; unprecedented.

Wait, detaining US citizen kids now? What’s even the line anymore? This whole operation is outta control. Need some serious checks on ICE powers, this is downright dystopian!

Government thugs are randomly stealing kids off the street. Don’t worry though, CNN and NY Times told me this is all completely normal and we totally aren’t living through the start of a fascist dictatorship

And you will never see any of these detainments covered by the mainstream news. Only independent news reporters are doing their jobs.

Isn’t that what’s supposed to happen when small children are found without their parents?

Meanwhile, ice is arresting children, families, people going to work or better yet immigration court. So, where are all the violent criminals they are supposed to be going after?

This wasn’t a raid this was an act of war. Using Blackhawk helicopters and rappelling down from them? Dragging people out of their homes? The Federal Government has declared a Civil War on blue states.

Republicans love „detaining“ kids if you catch my drift.

I cannot imagine the amount of psychological trauma these poor children have been put through. I really hope that the parents/family of these kids get in touch with Mark Elias and other attorneys like him to sue the crap out of ICE / DHS. This is wholly unacceptable and is just a blatant „in your face“ attack on our civil rights and laws.

This was identified early on as a likely outcome.

Republicans abducting children, not exactly shocking given the average Republican’s proclivities.
