It’s crazy that it takes a huge messaging effort that the Obamacare subsidies are going to end in December. Are masses of people so blase and uninformed they don’t realize the crisis is now and if the GOP isn’t forced to back down and extend the subsidies they’re fucked?
Republicans want the rates to skyrocket so they can blame Obamacare and can finally repeal the aca.
And there won’t be a replacement.
They’ll bank on people forgetting how fucked up things used to be.
Imagine a $1,000,000 *lifetime* policy limit, pre existing condition exclusions, retroactive policy rescissions, denials because of failures to disclose previous diagnoses and treatments, and on and on and on.
If those subsidies go away I can’t afford insurance. Period. Which really sucks because I need psychiatric medication that I rely on my insurance for. Fuckin sweet. I love worrying about this shit all the time. /s.
I’ll never forgive Republicans for any of this. Fuck trump and anyone who voted for him. Fuck all of them forever. God damn monsters.

The shutdown shit show can be argued by the Trump Republicans as the Democrats fault. If premium were allowed to go up 150% in November, only the Republicans would be able to be blamed.
Something we aren’t even talking about: The „Big Beautiful Bill“ ended many extensions on Medicare. I was informed as of October 1st, disabled patients are no longer allowed to do telemedicine.
