tldr; A senior advisor to Russian President Vladimir Putin, Anton Kobyakov, has accused the U.S. of planning to use dollar-backed stablecoins to address its $37 trillion debt by devaluing it and starting afresh. Speaking at the Eastern Economic Forum, Kobyakov claimed this strategy would shift America’s fiscal burden onto the global economy, undermining trust in the dollar. Analysts, however, argue that such a move would be legally and technically challenging, with stablecoins being issued by private companies, not the U.S. government. Russia is developing its own ruble-backed stablecoin and crypto framework.

Tell me you dont understand modern economy without telling me. Most of US debt (75%) held by domestic entities. US government already holds US debt as much as foreign investors. Why would they bankrupt themselves?

    3. A) it would not surprise me and I have similar beliefs on the price action of bitcoin. That much of the investments of the past ten years are from the ultra wealthy as a hedge against upheaval. Just do the thought experiment how can you preserve your wealth if you become an enemy of the state and must flee your homeland.
      B) Russia main economic stance is the end of the petro dollar and the end of the dollar’s status as the reserve currency, gives them zero credibility on this subject.

They should be worried about their oil refineries, instead of talking about the US dollar. Before their ruble turns into rubble.

There’s no such thing as „world’s expense“. You can’t erase debt without consequences for your own economy.

      A whole bunch of nothing.

    6. Is there a guide on how we can do this, it sounds wonderful to get rid of my debt!

The U.S. can get rid of its massive debt by spending more, not sure why they need to do it. /s
