Most local people think Israel’s gone way too far but don’t identify with the protests that much.

At first I thought you were complaining about the car parking 😅

I’m Swiss born and raised and I think Israel is committing a genocide. Not because I’m an expert in these issues but because I feel like the school system gave importance to UN/MSF/ICRC, like we are neutral and we host these institutions that are respectful.. so I trust what they say.

I do think there must be a divide between Romand and Swiss Germans on the issue.

Personally the car is a bit close to the pavement, but they’ve tucked the bike away properly. I might leave a laminated note if that car gets closer to the road though

    4. I am also immigrant, so not 100% sure, but most I’ve seen these flags – they tend not to „stand with the nation“, but to signify the country of origin of the resident. Seen a lot of them with Swiss-Czech, Swiss-Croatian, Swiss-Slovak and even Swiss-Austrian. One guy even has such flag-pole in the garden area 🙂
So I guess this signifies that someone originating in Israel is living there, does not need to represent the person’s opinion about the ongoing genocide.

Honestly it really depends in what kind of social circles you’re in. Old money will probably be more pro Israel. Young students will be more pro Palastine, the big part of the population will not show any support to either side. Do you criticize Israel? Oh so you’re a Nazi. Oh you’re criticizing Hamas Oh so you’re pro Israel and support the genocide. In the end most people I’ve spoken to don’t support the war, but in the same mind tell themselves not my monkey not my circus.

Is it okay? For the general population, yeah.

For left-wingers/antifa, probably not, chance is there that they do something, but its rather small.

For right-wing nazis, probably not, chance is very small tho, smaller than left-wing as theyre less criminal/violent & confrontational

I’m guessing about 20-30% of the country support israel, about 5-10% are the pro palestinian radicals, the rest is probably somewhere in between leaning to not supporting people being killed.

For me personally, i hate all of em.

    7. I don’t know if people who actually know jews see „israel support“=“jewish support“

One is political, the other is supporting human rights.
