It’s real scary when Trump has the power to murder people with the military with impunity without even the veneer of a warzone.

    2. The zone is officially flooded today. There’s more bad news than I can even consume all before lunch.

This is outright murder, there is no justification for this, and no proof they are any threat.

Is the US technically holding Venezuela under a Naval Siege at this point?

      Just keep killing innocent fishermen.
      American Military Cowards and Terrorists

    6. Hope no fatties were operating the drone. They need to look good while killing innocent civilians.

    7. Hey guys, the new episode of. Below Decks is WILD! You won’t believe what happened!

    8. So they blow these boats up that have no chance to reach American shores but could lead them to another larger ship or location smuggling. But instead of investigating they just blow these boats up. With what evidence/intelligence…?

Cause if there was an asset on the ground 4 ships being destroyed would probably mean that asset is about to be put in a shallow grave right?

Bold of reddit to assume they’re just casual fisherman being killed for fun

We have the fucking coast guard to do interdiction what the fuck are we doing right now?

Great! The mask is off now. Hope Americans won’t pretend to be morally superior now.

    12. Oh no the innocent drug smugglers got blown up. This is definitely something to be outraged by! It could have just been innocent fishermen! You guys are funny. Or fake. Hoping fake.

    13. Yeah, fuck those defenseless fisherman in particular! Armed forces must feel so brave following Kegsbreath and Miller’s orders to blow up poor brown people.

      Trump really likes extrajudicial executions.

How could that POSSIBLY backfire on his supporters and the citizens he has sworn an oath to protect?

Y’all Queda wants blood and he’s giving it to them.

Trump squashing mosquitos to feel good about himself. If they were running drugs (good), then show us the proof!

*IF* and when there’s another Democrat President, Trump and/or Hegseth should be handed over to The Hague.

    17. Which general is approving this? Democrats should demand answers. I bet he was smiling during Hegseth’s wacky speech this week.

They are obviously after the oil. But too late as China already cut a deal with Venezuela for that petrol So Trump and his cronies decided to start killing fishermen and see they are drug dealers when they’re not. They are trying to provoke a war so they could steal the oil.

As of January 2024, Guyana has an estimated 11 billion barrels of proven oil reserves, which is 75% of Brazil’s reserves. The International Energy Agency predicts that Guyana’s daily production could increase fivefold by 2030, from 250,000 barrels in 2022.

ExxonMobil has invested a total of over $60 billion in Guyana’s Stabroek Block, with the most recent investment being a $6.8 billion final investment decision for the seventh offshore development.

The Essequibo conflict is an ongoing territorial dispute between Guyana and Venezuela over the mineral- and oil-rich Essequibo region. Venezuela continues to take aggressive actions to assert its claim, despite recent rulings from the International Court of Justice (ICJ) and warnings from regional and international partners.

Reported in September 2025, the IISS estimates that Venezuela has 123,000 active troops, supplemented by 8,000 reservists.

Guyana’s troop numbers are around 3,400 to 4,000 active-duty personnel for its Guyana Defense Force (GDF),

Venezuela holds the largest proven oil reserves in the world, estimated at approximately 303 billion barrels as of 2023.

    21. I’m so glad people voted for Trump because he was apparently going to get us out of war.

So extrajudicial killings outside it’s boundaries by the US is now a norm?

    25. Chaos43mta3u on

It’s called extrajudicial killings. The former president of the Philippines is in the Hague for the same crimes

    26. Darkemaster on

So war crimes or just flat out terrorism? Thinking the latter is more accurate text book definition since we weren’t already at war, at least yet.

Still no different than the actions of a 3rd world dictator murdering innocent people.

It… just dawned on me….. „They carried drugs“ is this administration’s equivalent to Russia’s „falling out a window“ for disappearing people isn’t it?

    27. These mfers are drug smugglers. Good riddance. Leave our people alone. Stop trying to poison our good men and women, and you won’t be blown to smithereens.

    28. TomStarGregco on

Why are seemingly regular people out in international waters like that unless they’re trafficking drugs into somewhere else. I mean Venezuelans are known for that. I mean they’ve practically taken over the port of Guayaquil, Ecuador for guess what drug trafficking.
