Trump told the truth one time. In his 2016 campaign he stated that he is the voice of those that go unheard. He left out the truest bit that these people were unheard and ignored for a very good reason.
Had people understood what Andrew Jackson was, and how he governed, perhaps this could have been avoided for a longer time. Andrew Jackson was claimed by Trump as his favorite President.

Project 2025 is a recipe for a Christofascist dystopia and economic disaster (engineered to benefit the 0.01%) and so many of us warned everyone we could about this.
We were told by so many people we were overreacting and being conspiracy theorists.
We were right then, and we’re right now when we say this is only the beginning — it’s going to get so much worse.
The American military brass is going to be faced with a choice, and sooner rather than later, between honoring their oaths *or* caving in to the Reich.
If they choose the latter route there is a less than 1% chance we avoid disunion and balkanization at best, a brutal civil war at worst.

During the civil war the American military stayed loyal to the union and the southern states had to form their own fighting force. That made sense because the the elected government remained loyal to the constitution which the military is sworn to uphold while the southern states broke away.
But what happens in a civil war 2.0 where the elected government is the one taking a dump on the constitution? The military’s ultimate loyalty is to the constitutional framework of the U.S., not to any individual leader or political party.
While I think a military coup in the U.S. is highly unlikely, Trump and Hegseth didn’t do themselves any favors by calling all the top military brass to an in-person meeting so they can all see firsthand how nuts they truly are.
