It’s microplastics, toxins in the air, dirt, and food and water supply. Additionally, it could be genes of our parents interacting with their toxins and our genes interacting current toxic levels of pollutants that were inherited. 

It’s my belief that when you see this level of change in young cancer patients, it’s a multi-prong cause. Additionally, with every nuclear bomb set off, we’re increasing background radiation levels. Some countries still do nuclear testing and it affects everyone because we live in a closed biome. 

I also sincerely believe that eventually the solution to all of this pollution will be our evolution. Let us hope that our genes stabilize to this level of toxic pollution and that our cancer rates start to decrease, but that is an idealistic concept and likely won’t happen for generations. Or we could just stop polluting but that ain’t going to happen with Trump rolling back EPA regulations.
