cadmium is an element. It’s a heavy metal and is known to be toxic and not something you want spread out into the environment. This is one of the reasons you are not supposed to throw batteries into the regular trash because it can leach cadmium into waterways.
And of course they use a picture of a plane that’s 100 years old as a way of saying *“they don’t do this type of thing anymore“*… like yea ok

I’m from st louis and this is decently well known throughout the area, but I think they used spraying machines via rooftop rather than airplanes as the image would suggest.

The army didn’t drop cadmium, they dropped the compound zinc cadmium sulfide, says right there in the pic you provided. Starting out disingenuous really makes me ‘question your math’ it’s such a ridiculous claim I can’t go further. Had you stuck with the facts: the army dumped ZnCdS. If you wanted to say “they didn’t do enough studies to see if inhaled ZnCds breaks down into cadmium or something factual, but no you changed the chemical compound they dropped despite your proof saying otherwise.
