How could anybody support Reform? Fracking creates upward price pressure on water bills due to water consumption & pollution. Anybody who supports them is either ignorant, stupid, a masochist or evil.

Because stupid people think that there is a goldmine under the ground beneath their feet and if we just tap it they will all be driving Bentleys by year end.
While simultaneously failing to understand the science, economic inviability or the basic fundamentals of capitalism that will ensure they wouldn’t see a single penny while their house subsides and the tap water catches fire.

It’s a shame that protecting the environment became a left verses right issue. People need to follow the money.
Earth quakes are very rare in UK but happened in the locality when they were fracking here. Even minor earthquakes are potentially going to harm our majority old buildings that are just not designed to withstand them. For clarity the new buildings are also not designed with earthquakes in mind.

Great news. Very happy about this. Miliband doing a brilliant job with the UK’s energy legislation.
