They have got to got to GOT TO give up on the North Coast. It is obviously not happening.
Build another pipeline through Vancouver, or Churchill, or out East. There are barriers with all of them but they are much less fundamental than with the north BC coast.
The sooner they stop beating their heads against this wall the sooner they get more export capacity
Which everyone knew as soon as the “proposal” was announced. A normal government would work on this behind the scenes, with the O&G industry, get at least tentative agreement in principle from those affected (BC, First Nations, etc), and **then** announce it publicly. Smith is doing what Smith usually does: announce something out of the blue, then switch to blaming other provinces and federal Liberals when it doesn’t happen.
lol that doesn’t seem too promising. You would expect that Alberta would have had more engaged on the B.C before going public but perhaps the point was to create a wedge between the two provinces for political purposes.
