      I cancelled Netflix because the content sucks ass and it’s way too expensive but if there are other reasons to cancel then gravy

      Anyone that doesn’t want to read it like me but I have idiot friends that shared, it’s cause of Elon saying to cancel Netflix because they have transgender shows. Literally the last reason I would cancel Netflix. I canceled because I don’t need so many streaming stuff and it’s expensive

      I cancelled Hulu and Disney+…Netflix has really good original stuff…and it has Bojack Horseman.

      But the GOP despises it because they have a huge production deal with….the Obamas.

      I canceled Netflix 5 years ago and haven’t missed it one bit. No one *needs* these streaming services. We should stop acting like we do.

      Welp, looks like I’m keeping Netflix after all! Was trimming my subscriptions because of how expensive everything else is becoming. I’ll trim down my personal ice cream budget instead lol.

      Personally I would cancel them since they air WWE (shitty blood money funded wrestling matches from Saudi Arabia) and they had their gross management team in the oval yesterday, but maybe that’s just me

      This is how it should be, if you don’t like something use your pocketbook. Republicans need to learn that and stop using the government to change laws to ostracize minorities or opposition. If you don’t like Trans don’t watch trans movies or sports that allow it. You don’t like gays don’t watch gay movies or shows. Don’t go to their parades. If you don’t like abortion, don’t have one. If you don’t like birth control don’t use it. See it’s pretty simple. Stop giving the government power to control every aspect of our lives. Yes, I have very progressive views and I also have very libertarian views on certain subjects. That thing about America. No one fits in the current system which is far right and moderate right.

      I’ve resorted to the fact that most corporations won’t align with most of my beliefs and I won’t agree with many of their practices, I can’t keep up with who I should and shouldn’t support.

      I know that occasionally I have to eat, buy a coffee or get something at a retail store with questionable employment practices.

      That also extends to tv. Sometimes I just want to watch something and not know what the ceo has been up to in the 8 hours I was working.

      I cancelled Netflix months ago and it had nothing to do with what Elon is saying and everything to do with a crappy selection of mediocre content paired with raising the price on the subscription for the crappy selection of mediocre content.

      Too expensive and wasn’t watching. Now I just do one subscription at a time and quit when we get bored. I’ll probably sign up again for a month soon just to see shows we liked and cancel after. We haven’t had it for a year.

      I wouldn’t cancel Netflix for political reasons but, I would certainly cancel it for subscription price – if I thought that it no longer represented value for money.

      Wasn’t Netflix in talks to buy HBO? And isn’t Trump loyalist Ellison also in talks to buy Warner Discovery which includes HBO and CNN?

      Do we think that’s a coincidence? BTW Ellison is a partial owner or Tik Tok now and owns paramount and CBS which has agreed to be less critical of Trump.
