Watching him be fact-checked on TV by news anchors who pointed out that illegal immigrants cannot get onto Medicaid was surreal. He smiled, says „I am glad you asked that“, and then either backpeddled or said that facts be damned, they are. Funny though, because I have first-hand knowledge that these applications are flat-out denied. One MUST be here legally and even then, there is a waiting period to be able to get onto Medicaid. The most telling part of the conversation is when she brought up Tump’s speech and Johnson reflexively looks away and says he hasn’t watched it. Such an obvious tell.
