As a Dutchman I am very proud my tax money is playing a small role here.

Why was this ever a debate and how did they allow so many incursions. Thank God putins army is fed by donkeys. If they had half a clue we’d all be screwed. Lucky they’re as dumb as we are and don’t know how to run a country anymore. Pure luck.

For anyone not reading the article, they mean the drones from september 9-10.

It is absurd that they are going all the way to Poland to get drones into Ukraine. Poland should be doing free AA in their line of sight including over Ukraine.

    5. Before everyone starts complaining about costs, these pilots and planes need regular flying hours anyways as part of maintance and crew training, so the overal cost of this mission in reality is a lot closer to just the cost of the missile used to take it down.

    6. spent ~~$50k~~ [$400K on a missile](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AIM-9_Sidewinder) + $150k operation cost for shooting a $3000 drone…

      I wouldn’t call that a victory.

In fact Russia should probably send 100000 more drones and watch the EU go bankrupt. I don’t know who is in charge over there but the economics of shooting plastic drones with F35s definitely aren’t adding up.

    7. 150k USD missile to down a 500 USD drone.

It will never work out. And drones are produced en mass now
