Risking your life because of something on your phone is not worth it.
Folks, you are far more valuable than whatever is on that stupid phone.
Stay safe.

I drove from Kildare to the airport at the end of August. Left at 4am and had my own personal lane on the far left the whole way.
I could have had 1000 points for all the undertaking I done.

You know what they say about common sense, it’s not that common…

Delighted they’re penalising lane hogging, pig-ignorance if you ask me

I try to drive in the left on the N7 but end up undertaking way to often as people still in lane 2 doing between 80-90.

Hopefully they can also put some energy into one of the biggest issues in Ireland – marijuana

Are these new type of unmarked cars with the signs common, I’m based near naas and saw one Sunday morning, it was a black 232 golf GTi, black. It had the same message on the back, I assume they drive in front of the offender and show it to make them pull in ? Has the usual blue and reds in the headlights

Tragically under-enforced rule that.

They would have a field day on the M50. One day alone could solve the homeless crisis.

Drivers k ow this. They just don’t care

Annoying this is they pulled him for being in lane 3. If the driver was hogging the middle lane, he’d have probably been left alone (ignoring the phone for this bit)

Drove Dublin to cork yesterday and a silver people carrier stayed in the right lane the whole time I was near him even when another car came flying up he would not move in.

Do the M50 next.

Love that they are shaming with the thing on the back of the undercover car 😆

What’s the deal with that LED sign on the Skoda? Are they pulling in front of the offending car to let them know why they’re getting pulled over??
In this case the scrolling message might be:
DO NOT USE YOUR PHONE

If you actually take note and look, so many drivers are on their phones. They’re not looking at the road half the time.

If you are stuck behind someone in the overtaking lane and they will not pull over, you can give them a good flash of your lights.
Though I would not recommend doing it German style and going bumper to bumper and staring at them via their side mirror

Fixed charge notices being?? A fine?? Should be fucking banned for 6 months for the phone alone, It’s every bit as bad as drink driving.

Lane hoggers boil my piss.
It’s not a fucking ‚fast lane‘.
It’s the overtaking lane.

How does this work on roads like the M1 where there are 3 lanes? What should the third lane be used for?
