Canada has a serious striking problem, cuz the government always steps in and forces workers to go to work ruining their right to strike. Delaying contracts and then it’s all coming back up to haunt em
I must say the BC NDP disappoints yet again by proving that they will happily virtue signal to the electorate that they’re pro-union until they have to deal with their own employees then they just act about as well as you’d expect the UCP (or any of its other provincial conservative equivalents) to act. The government showing up 3 hours late only to present another lackluster deal is just pathetic, especially at a time when they’re more than happy to add more non-unionized managers who only increase the top heaviness and inefficiency of our public service.
