      I don’t have anything against the Pope, but I worry that him saying this might cause Hamas to dig their heels in so as not to look like they’re capitulating to the Pope.

      Unless this is Hamas’s formal surrender (it might be) then I don’t really see them agreeing to hand over control of their country to foreign heads of state.

      It’s easier to step in and get what you want once the opposition has bombed the living shit out of the other sides home country and killed half the populace. I’m not sure if this is by any definition a „negotiation“ when the alternative is total annihilation

      Why would the people who state that their goal is to destroy Israel and make it a extremist suni theocracy, and that martyrdom is the holiest of fates , would surrender?

      People should probably actually listen to what they are saying and not what western leftists say about them

      Second, praising the Warmongering tyrant in order to appease them, is very rarely ever the right move.
