The Republican senator suffered the awkward slip up while speaking at a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on the Trump administration’s response to crime in cities, where he declared, “Democrat crime policies kill people.”

The only way this isn’t absolutely abhorrent is if he meant it as “Stop ‘Attacking Pedophiles” as in stopping pedophiles who are attacking, otherwise this is just insane and possibly career ending.
Nice of them to show their cards by calling it a gaffe when we can all be pretty certain it was actually a Freudian slip.

Somebody has a golden opportunity here to take a portion of the soundbite and use it in a political ad for anybody that’s running against him. “Ted Cruz protects pedophiles… while the sound clip runs of him saying “ stop attacking pedophiles” along with pictures of Epstein and other convicted sex offenders.
How loosely these politicians and president talk. They’re spewing truth and just assuming we take it as a gaffe. Trump said himself he stole the election with Elon’s help. Was that a gaffe too?
