SS: US-Africa trade deal which was signed in 2000 has expired, this deal had given jobs to multiple african nations but with Trump’s policy of going inward, those jobs are at risk, the white House has stated that they are willing to expand the desl for another year but right now there’s no official confirmation. This is bad for USA as USA and China have been locked in battle for influence over Africa, not renegotiating the trade deal would reduce USA’s standing.
