      Elsewhere on Reddit, there is video of a man very confidently claiming to have Mike Johnson’s Grinder profile and IP address, which he plans to release unless Johnson stops obstructing the swearing-in.

      The guy claims to have receipts, showed his face and used his own voice, it seems like an awfully big risk to bluff about something like this which involves the Speaker of the House of Representatives.

      Aside from that, it’s clear that Republicans are doing this to delay the release of more Epstein/Trump documents.

      I keep telling people that I can’t comprehend why they believe that voting any of them out will do anything in ’26 and ’28 when they will just move the goalpost and not swear in anyone they disagree with. This here is a great example of that.

Why the fuck is so much leeway and grace given to far right fascist lunatics destroying the country and breaking every law imaginable all the way up to and including the Constitution?

      Just fucking publish facts as facts. He’s fucking delaying the swearing in and he doesn’t want the Epstein files to go to another vote. That’s a fact.

      Like her district voted, chose her, and that’s that. It’s not Johnson’s place to pull this. If he won’t follow through with the pleasantries of her swearing in, just sit down and get to work. There’s stuff to vote on.

      CMV but this absolute adherence to decorum in this situation is more of the democrats “going high.” End result is Congress deviates even further from its intended role. They need to start that hardball they’ve been talking about.

      Isn’t this just delaying the inevitable? As annoying and undemocratic as it is, what does a week delay buy the GOP except … another week of protecting pedophiles? There doesn’t seem to be much upside for them in delaying it for just another week.
