A trampoline? That’s an odd and concerning site here? You must not have had the toys or played the way we did in the 80s and 90s

My two year old got to experience Norwegian healthcare after falling off my cousin’s trampoline while visiting. Someone joked to us at the time that you can tell it’s summer in Norway by looking around at all the kids in casts (from trampoline injuries).

Yes they may be dangerous, but I think you are overreacting.

I work in radiology, and while we get some trampoline injuries, there’s a hundred other things I’d rank higher risk than this. Like falling from climbing things and bicycles.

You never played on a trampoline when you were a kid?

You’re absolutely right – and the science agrees with you. Studies clearly show that the most common predictor of death, by quite a margin, is the lethal fact of previously having lived.

They’re perfectly normal. I don’t see the issue. We’ve been using them for decades.

And every time there is a storm you get a free trampoline in your yard because people are utter morons.

If kids only stayed *safe*, they would lay in bed wrapped in bubble wrap. Then would die of some illness caused by inactivity instead
It’s up to each parent to decide which things they decide is worth the risk vs fun and activity for their kids. But kids generally need to learn by doing, life is dangerous. Driving with kids is dangerous too, and yet everyone does it

This is the country where skateboarding used to be illegal lol, these would be banned if the data supported it

Enough has been said, but if I may recommend that specific brand on the photo, North Trampoline.
Really amazed by the quality, safety and longevity.
Just saying.
They are expensive though, but worth it, considering the performance honestly.
Edit : had the chance to compare with other brands with the kids‘ friends.
Impressive, honestly. Can’t stick a single finger there!
