We’re going to see a lot more of this unless we start making Canada a friendly business environment for investment. We’ve spent the last decade making ourselves extremely unfriendly to investment, Trumps tariffs are just the catalyst to make these companies actually pull the trigger and move their operations.
This one feels particularly brutal. It’s only 100 jobs but it feels like a harbinger in light of the move to the states.
