Our new dark age? Is it cos we don’t have flying cars and jet packs?… yet!
the idea is incredibly cool but I dread the thought of all of the „manifest destiny“/“white suppremacy“ people coming out of the woodwork demanding we colonize any we find… although that might actually be helpful with pushing technology forward. I’ve read enough cheesy scifi from the heinlen era to know it could end poorly.
