Quite a lot of gen z protests in recent months. Wonder if that means anything.
I would be surprised if Andry lasts the week, given that he’s just given in to 2/3 demands of the protesters (resignation of ministers and dissolution of the government) but has refused the third, namely to step down himself. Despite being widely and rightly blamed for the morass of corruption and ineffective governance that saps Madagascar’s future of its strength, he chose to tell his people that they asked for too much in his speech tonight. This will almost certainly embolden the movement.
